Ödön Földessy

Ödön Földessy was a distinguished Hungarian athlete, celebrated for his prowess in the long jump. Born on July first, nineteen twenty-nine, in Békés, he dedicated his life to athletics and public service as a police officer.

Földessy made his mark on the international stage by competing for Hungary in the men's long jump event at the nineteen fifty-two Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, where he proudly secured a bronze medal, showcasing his exceptional talent.
