Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav, born on July first, nineteen seventy-three, is a prominent Indian politician, engineer, agriculturalist, and social worker. He currently serves as the national president of the Samajwadi Party and made history by becoming the youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh at the age of thirty-eight, holding office from two thousand twelve to two thousand seventeen.

As a dedicated public servant, Akhilesh is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kannauj in the eighteenth Lok Sabha, where he leads the parliamentary party of the Samajwadi Party. His political journey began with a significant milestone when he was elected as a Member of the thirteenth Lok Sabha in two thousand, representing the Kannauj constituency.

In addition to his parliamentary role, he previously served as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Karhal in the eighteenth Vidhan Sabha before resigning. He also held the position of Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from March two thousand twenty-two to June two thousand twenty-four.

Akhilesh Yadav is the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, a distinguished figure in Indian politics and the founder of the Samajwadi Party, who has held various significant roles, including Minister of Defence and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
