Aleix Espargaró

Aleix Espargaró, born on July 30, 1989, is a distinguished motorcycle racer and businessperson from Spain. He first made his mark in the world of motorsports by clinching the title of the Spanish 2004 FIM CEV 125cc International Champion. His career in the MotoGP class began in 2017, where he showcased his skills riding Aprilia machines.

After an impressive career in Grand Prix racing, Aleix decided to retire at the end of the 2024 season. His transition from racing to a new chapter in his life saw him signing on as a test rider for Honda Racing Corporation, where he would continue to contribute to the world of motorcycle development.

In a surprising turn, Aleix embraced a new passion for cycling, joining the United States team Lidl-Trek. He made his debut in the cycling arena at the 2025 Tour of Austria, marking a significant shift in his athletic career.
