Andregoto Galíndez, a prominent figure in the history of the County of Aragon, was born into a noble lineage as the daughter of Galindo II Aznárez and Sancha Garcés of Pamplona. Her family ties were significant, as her mother was a half-sister to King Sancho I of Pamplona. Following her father's death in nine hundred twenty-two, the County of Aragon was governed by Count Guntislo, who was likely her illegitimate half-brother. Meanwhile, her half-sister, Toda Galíndez, inherited the County of Sobrarbe through her marriage to Count Bernard I of Ribagorza.
In the mid-nineteen thirties, Andregoto married García Sánchez I, the only son of King Sancho I, and became the Queen of Pamplona. However, their union was short-lived, as García divorced her before the year nine hundred forty, likely due to consanguinity, given that both were grandchildren of García Jiménez of Pamplona. Together, they had one son, Sancho II of Pamplona, and possibly two daughters, Toda and Urraca, although the maternity of the latter is debated.
By nine hundred seventy-one, Andregoto was ruling her own subkingdom in the region of Lumbier, showcasing her political acumen and leadership abilities. There are suggestions that she may have remarried and had additional children, although concrete details remain elusive. Notably, Endregota, a wife of an eleventh-century nobleman, referred to Andregoto as 'avuncula,' indicating a familial connection that likely stemmed from a sister of the queen.
