Angela Schneider, born on October twenty-eighth, nineteen fifty-nine, is a distinguished Canadian rower who made her mark in the world of sports by winning a silver medal in the Coxed Fours event at the nineteen eighty-four Summer Olympics.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Schneider has dedicated her career to academia. She currently serves as a professor at the University of Western Ontario, where she imparts her knowledge through a kinesiology course focused on ethics in sport, shaping the next generation of athletes and sports professionals.
Angela's legacy extends beyond her own accomplishments; she is also the proud mother of Loughran (Locky) Butcher. Locky has followed in his mother's athletic footsteps, competing in hurdles and high jump for Western University and representing Team Canada at the twenty thirteen IAAF World Youth Championships, where he placed twenty-fourth in the one hundred ten meter hurdles.
