Anita Skorgan

Anita Skorgan, born on November thirteenth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a celebrated Norwegian musician and singer-songwriter. With a career spanning several decades, she has made significant contributions to the music scene in Norway and beyond.

Skorgan gained international recognition by representing Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest on three occasions: in nineteen seventy-seven, where she placed fourteenth; in nineteen seventy-nine, finishing eleventh; and in nineteen eighty-two, where she performed alongside Jan Teigen and secured twelfth place. Her involvement with Eurovision extended beyond performing, as she also lent her voice as a backing singer in the contests of nineteen eighty-one and nineteen eighty-three.

In addition to her performances, Anita Skorgan showcased her songwriting talent by co-writing the Norwegian entry for Eurovision in nineteen eighty-eight, titled 'For vår jord', which achieved a commendable fifth place.
