Bleda

Bleda was a prominent Hunnic ruler, known for his significant role in the history of the Huns as the elder brother of the infamous Attila the Hun. Following the death of their uncle Rugila, Bleda and Attila ascended to the throne, marking the beginning of a notable reign that lasted for eleven years.

While the exact circumstances surrounding Bleda's death remain shrouded in mystery, historical accounts suggest that he may have met his end at the hands of Attila during a hunting expedition. This speculation, however, is not definitively proven, leaving a veil of intrigue over the events of his demise.

One of the more whimsical aspects of Bleda's life was his fondness for a Moorish dwarf named Zerco, whom he acquired after the great Hun campaign of four hundred forty-one. Bleda's affection for Zerco was evident, as he even crafted a suit of armor for the dwarf, allowing him to accompany Bleda on military campaigns, showcasing a unique blend of leadership and personal charm.
