Bryan Shelton

Bryan Shelton, born on December twenty-second, nineteen sixty-five, is a distinguished American former professional tennis player and coach. His career on the ATP tour spanned from nineteen eighty-nine to nineteen ninety-seven, during which he achieved notable success, winning two singles and two doubles titles. Shelton's prowess on the court was further highlighted when he reached the mixed doubles final at the nineteen ninety-two French Open, partnering with Lori McNeil.

Before turning professional, Shelton showcased his talent at Georgia Tech, where he played collegiate tennis from nineteen eighty-five to nineteen eighty-eight. After retiring from competitive play, he returned to his alma mater to coach the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women's tennis team, leading them to victory in the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship in two thousand seven.

His coaching career continued to flourish as he took the helm of the Florida Gators men's tennis team at the University of Florida, guiding them to win the NCAA Championship in two thousand twenty-one. This remarkable achievement made him the only head coach to secure national championships in both men's and women's NCAA Division I Tennis.
