Catherine of Lancaster

Catherine of Lancaster, born on March thirty-first, thirteen seventy-three, in Hertford Castle, was a significant figure in the history of Castile. As the daughter of John of Gaunt, the 1st Duke of Lancaster, and Constance of Castile, she inherited a rich legacy that intertwined the English and Spanish royal lines.

Her marriage to King Henry III of Castile elevated her to the role of Queen, a position she embraced with grace and determination.
