Claudia Octavia

Claudia Octavia, born in the year forty, was a prominent figure in Roman history, known for her role as an empress. She was the daughter of Emperor Claudius and Valeria Messalina, which positioned her within the powerful circles of Roman aristocracy.

Her life took a significant turn following the death of her mother and the subsequent remarriage of her father to her cousin, Agrippina the Younger. This union not only made her the stepsister of the future Emperor Nero but also led to an arranged marriage between the two, orchestrated by Agrippina.
