Cody Zeller

Cody Zeller, born on October fifth, nineteen ninety-two, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player who made a significant impact in the National Basketball Association over the course of eleven seasons. His journey began at Washington High School in Washington, Indiana, where he showcased his exceptional talent and was honored as Indiana Mr. Basketball during his senior year in two thousand eleven.

Following his high school success, Zeller took his skills to the collegiate level, playing for the Indiana Hoosiers from two thousand eleven to two thousand thirteen. His freshman year was marked by accolades, including the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award and a spot on the All-Big Ten second team. In his sophomore season, he elevated his game further, earning recognition as a second-team All-American and a member of the All-Big Ten first team.

In two thousand thirteen, Zeller was selected fourth overall in the NBA draft by the Charlotte Bobcats, who would later rebrand as the Hornets. His rookie season was impressive, culminating in a selection to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. After spending eight seasons with the Hornets, he signed with the Portland Trail Blazers in August twenty twenty-one, where he played for one season. In February twenty twenty-three, Zeller joined the Miami Heat, reaching the NBA Finals that same year. He concluded his NBA career with the New Orleans Pelicans, signing with them in July twenty twenty-three.
