Dulquer Salmaan

Dulquer Salmaan, born on July twenty-eight, nineteen eighty-three, is a prominent Indian actor and producer renowned for his work in Malayalam cinema, as well as in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. As one of the highest-paid actors in the Malayalam film industry, he has garnered numerous accolades, including five Filmfare Awards South, a Kerala State Film Award, a Kerala Film Critics Association Award, and a Gaddar Telangana State Film Award.

Born to the legendary actor Mammootty, Dulquer pursued a bachelor's degree in business management from Purdue University. Before embarking on his acting journey, he worked as a business manager in Dubai. After completing a three-month acting course at the Barry John Acting Studio, he made his acting debut in the film Second Show in two thousand twelve, earning the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role in Ustad Hotel, also released in two thousand twelve.

His career took off with notable performances in films such as ABCD, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, culminating in a significant breakthrough with Bangalore Days in two thousand fourteen. Dulquer solidified his status as a leading actor with acclaimed films like Vikramadithyan, Charlie, which earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor, Kali, Kammatti Paadam, Jomonte Suvisheshangal, and Kurup.

Expanding his horizons, Dulquer ventured into Tamil cinema with successful projects like O Kadhal Kanmani and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal. His highest-grossing films include the Telugu blockbusters Mahanati, Sita Ramam, and the upcoming Lucky Baskhar, for which he received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor – Telugu for both Mahanati and Sita Ramam.

In addition to his acting prowess, Dulquer is also a producer, singer, and philanthropist. He is happily married to architect Amal Sufiya, and together they have a daughter.
