Grand Duchess Maria Mikhailovna of Russia

Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Grand Duchess Maria Mikhailovna of Russia

Grand Duchess Maria Mikhailovna of Russia, born on March ninth, eighteen twenty-five, was the cherished firstborn child of Grand Duke Michael Pavlovich and Princess Charlotte of Württemberg. Her lineage connected her to the illustrious House of Romanov, as her father was the youngest son of Emperor Paul I of Russia.

Maria's mother, Princess Charlotte, embraced Russian Orthodoxy and took the name Elena Pavlovna, further intertwining the family's heritage with the Russian imperial legacy. Despite her noble birth, Maria's life was tragically short.

She passed away at the tender age of twenty-one on November nineteenth, eighteen forty-six, in Vienna. Unmarried and without children, her early death marked the end of a promising life that was deeply rooted in the traditions of Russian aristocracy.
