Jos Verstappen

Jos Verstappen, born on March fourth, nineteen seventy-two, is a distinguished Dutch racing and rally driver, known for his remarkable career in the European Rally Championship as a privateer. Hailing from Dutch Limburg, Verstappen's journey in motorsport began at the tender age of eight when he started competitive kart racing. His karting prowess led him to secure two senior European Championships in nineteen eighty-nine, paving the way for his transition to junior formulae.

In nineteen ninety-two, Verstappen made his mark in Formula Opel Lotus, clinching the Benelux Championship. His talent shone brightly that year as he also won the EFDA Nations Cup, representing the Netherlands. The following year, he progressed to German Formula Three, where he triumphed in his rookie season with Opel, also winning the prestigious Masters of Formula 3.

Verstappen's Formula One career commenced in nineteen ninety-four when he signed with Benetton as a test driver. He made his debut at the Brazilian Grand Prix, stepping in for the injured JJ Lehto and partnering with the legendary Michael Schumacher.
