Keiko Fujimori, born on May twenty-fifth, nineteen seventy-five, is a prominent Peruvian politician and business administrator. As the eldest daughter of former president Alberto Fujimori and Susana Higuchi, she has been a significant figure in Peruvian politics for decades.
From August nineteen ninety-four to November two thousand, Keiko served as the First Lady of Peru during her father's presidency. Her political career took a more defined shape when she became the leader of the Fujimorist political party, Popular Force, in two thousand ten. Additionally, she represented the Lima Metropolitan Area as a congresswoman from two thousand six to two thousand eleven.
Keiko has made several attempts to ascend to the presidency, running in the elections of two thousand eleven, two thousand sixteen, and two thousand twenty-one, though she faced defeat in each of these second-round contests. Currently, she is gearing up for her fourth presidential campaign in the upcoming two thousand twenty-six general election.
