Throughout his illustrious career, Kharbanda has made significant strides in parallel cinema, showcasing his versatility and depth as an actor. He has appeared in several critically acclaimed films, including Mahesh Bhatt's classic Arth in nineteen eighty-two, Ek Chadar Maili Si in nineteen eighty-six, and the television series Waaris in nineteen eighty-eight.
