Lynn Patrick

Lynn Patrick, born on February third, nineteen twelve, was a distinguished Canadian professional ice hockey player and executive. He dedicated a decade of his life to the National Hockey League, primarily with the New York Rangers, where he made a significant impact on the ice. His exceptional skills earned him a place on the NHL All-Star team twice, and he proudly contributed to the Rangers' triumph in the nineteen forty Stanley Cup championship.

After hanging up his skates, Patrick transitioned into coaching, beginning with the Rangers before moving on to the Boston Bruins, where he also took on the role of general manager. His coaching journey culminated in his position as the inaugural head coach of the St. Louis Blues, further solidifying his legacy in the sport.

Patrick hailed from one of hockey's most renowned families. His brother Muzz and son Glenn also made their marks in the NHL, while his father Lester, uncle Frank Patrick, and son Craig are celebrated members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. In recognition of his contributions to the sport, Lynn was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame in nineteen eighty and received the Lester Patrick Trophy in nineteen eighty-nine.
