Margaret Millar

Margaret Millar, born on February fifth, nineteen fifteen, in Berlin, Ontario, was a distinguished Canadian-American writer renowned for her contributions to the mystery and suspense genres. Her early education took place at the Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate Institute, followed by further studies at the University of Toronto, where she honed her literary skills.

After marrying Kenneth Millar, who is better known by his pen name Ross Macdonald, she relocated to the United States. The couple settled in Santa Barbara, California, a city that would later serve as a backdrop for many of her novels, often published under the pseudonyms San Felice or Santa Felicia.
