Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Maria Anna Mozart

Maria Anna Walburga Ignatia Mozart, affectionately known as Nannerl, was born on July 30, 1751, in Salzburg. From a young age, she exhibited extraordinary talent as a keyboard player, nurtured by her father, Leopold Mozart. Her prodigious skills led her to perform across Europe alongside her family, including her renowned brother, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

At the tender age of seventeen, Nannerl's career as a touring musician came to a halt. However, her passion for music did not wane; she dedicated herself to teaching piano and occasionally performing at home. Her life took a new turn at thirty-three when she married and relocated to a village six hours away from Salzburg, where she focused on raising her children.

After becoming a widow in eighteen hundred and one, Nannerl returned to Salzburg, reigniting her musical pursuits through teaching and performance. Although no manuscripts of her compositions have survived, her contributions to music and her brother's biographical studies remain significant.
