Marie Leszczyńska

Marie Leszczyńska, born on June twenty-third, seventeen oh three, was a remarkable figure in French history, serving as Queen of France from her marriage to King Louis XV on September fourth, seventeen twenty-five until her passing in seventeen sixty-eight. As the daughter of Stanislaus I Leszczyński, the deposed King of Poland, and Catherine Opalińska, she brought a unique heritage to the French court.

Her reign as queen was notable not only for its duration, spanning over forty-two years and nine months, making her the longest-serving queen in French history, but also for her deep commitment to charitable works.
