Mark Ronson

Raised in New York City after his early years in Notting Hill, London, Ronson's musical journey was significantly influenced by his stepfather, Mick Jones, the guitarist of Foreigner. His education at the Collegiate School and Vassar College laid the groundwork for his burgeoning career, which began to take shape while he was a popular DJ at New York University, particularly in the hip hop scene.

This success was followed by his fourth studio album, Uptown Special, which was dedicated to Winehouse and also achieved significant chart success. In two thousand eighteen, he founded Zelig Records and formed the duo Silk City with Diplo, further expanding his influence in the music world.

Beyond his musical achievements, Ronson is dedicated to philanthropy, serving as a patron of the Amy Winehouse Foundation and participating in campaigns to support disadvantaged youth through music.
