Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Maureen Starkey Tigrett

Maureen Starkey Tigrett, born Mary Cox on 4 August 1946 in Liverpool, England, was a multifaceted talent known for her work as a singer, actor, model, and hairdresser. She gained prominence as the first wife of Ringo Starr, the legendary drummer of The Beatles. Their paths crossed during her training as a hairdresser at the iconic Cavern Club, where The Beatles were performing, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in both their lives.

On 20 January 1965, Ringo proposed to Maureen at the Ad Lib Club in London, and they celebrated their marriage later that year at the Caxton Hall Register Office. The couple initially resided at 34 Montagu Square in Marylebone before moving to Sunny Heights in St George's Hill, Weybridge. In a notable acquisition, they purchased Tittenhurst Park from John Lennon in 1973, further intertwining their lives with the legacy of The Beatles.

Throughout their marriage, Maureen and Ringo welcomed three children: sons Zak and Jason, and daughter Lee. Despite their shared journey, the couple divorced in 1975, marking the end of an era. Maureen's life, however, continued to be defined by her vibrant personality and contributions to the arts until her passing on 30 December 1994.
