Before stepping into the wrestling ring, she dedicated her early career to educating young minds as a middle school teacher in Palatka, Florida. Her journey into the world of professional wrestling began in two thousand four when she participated in the WWE Diva Search, ultimately leading to her signing with WWE.
From two thousand five to two thousand seven, McCool showcased her talents under the persona of a personal trainer, later evolving her character to that of a teacher. Her hard work and dedication paid off at The Great American Bash in two thousand eight, where she made history by becoming the inaugural WWE Divas Champion, a title she held for approximately five months.
