Peter Dineen

Peter Dineen, born on November nineteenth, nineteen sixty, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. His career spanned from nineteen eighty to nineteen ninety-one, during which he played a total of thirteen games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Los Angeles Kings and the Detroit Red Wings between nineteen eighty-six and nineteen eighty-nine.

As the second oldest of the Dineen brothers, alongside Kevin and Gord, Peter hails from a family deeply rooted in hockey. Their father, Bill Dineen, also made his mark in the NHL, contributing to the family's legacy in the sport.

After his playing days, Peter transitioned into a successful career as a professional hockey scout. He has lent his expertise to several teams, including the Minnesota North Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins, and Columbus Blue Jackets.

In two thousand eighteen, he took on a new role as an assistant coach for the Adirondack Thunder in the ECHL, further showcasing his commitment to the development of the sport and its players.
