Queen Sofía of Spain

Queen Sofía of Spain, born on November second, nineteen thirty-eight, is a prominent figure in the Spanish royal family. She served as Queen of Spain from nineteen seventy-five until her husband, King Juan Carlos I, abdicated in two thousand fourteen. As the eldest and last surviving child of King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece, her royal lineage is deeply rooted in European history.

Her journey into royalty began when she married then Infante Juan Carlos of Spain in nineteen sixty-two. Upon his accession to the throne in nineteen seventy-five, Sofía embraced her role as queen, supporting her husband and engaging in various charitable endeavors throughout her reign.
