Rachid Ghezzal

Rachid Ghezzal, born on May ninth, nineteen ninety-two, is an accomplished Algerian professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Ligue 1 club Lyon. Although he was born in France, Ghezzal proudly represents the Algeria national football team, showcasing his dual heritage on the international stage.

Ghezzal's football journey began at Lyon, where he made his professional debut in October two thousand twelve. Over the course of his tenure with the club, he appeared in one hundred nineteen matches and netted thirteen goals across all competitions, establishing himself as a promising talent in French football.

In August two thousand seventeen, Ghezzal made a significant move to Monaco on a free transfer. However, after just one season, he transitioned to Leicester City as a replacement for the departing Riyad Mahrez. Despite his potential, Ghezzal struggled to secure a consistent first-team position at Leicester, leading to loan spells at Fiorentina and Besiktas in subsequent seasons.
