Richard Appel, born on May 21, 1963, is a multifaceted American writer, producer, and former attorney. He has made significant contributions to the world of television, particularly as an executive producer and co-showrunner of the iconic animated series Family Guy since 2012. His academic journey took him through the prestigious halls of Harvard University and Harvard Law School, where he honed his writing skills as a contributor to the Harvard Lampoon.
