Veronica Yvette Greenfield, known to the world as Ronnie Spector, was born on August 10, 1943. She emerged as a defining voice in rock and roll, celebrated for her role as the lead singer of the iconic girl group, the Ronettes. With her striking presence and powerful vocals, she earned the title of the 'bad girl of rock and roll' and captivated audiences globally.

The Ronettes, formed in the late 1950s alongside her sister Estelle Bennett and cousin Nedra Talley, signed with Phil Spector's Philles label in 1963. Under his production, they released a series of timeless hits throughout the 1960s, including the unforgettable tracks 'Be My Baby' and 'Walking in the Rain.' Ronnie's marriage to Phil Spector in 1968 marked a significant chapter in her life, but their divorce in 1974 led her to revive the Ronettes and return to the stage.

In 1980, Ronnie Spector launched her solo career with the album 'Siren,' but it was her collaboration with Eddie Money on the hit 'Take Me Home Tonight' in 1986 that reignited her fame.
