Steffi Graf

Steffi Graf, born on June 14, 1969, is a legendary tennis player and athlete who has left an indelible mark on the sport. She made her debut as a teenage sensation at the 1983 French Open, becoming the youngest player to compete in the main draw of a major tournament at just thirteen years old. Over the years, Graf evolved into a formidable competitor, breaking the stronghold of icons Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova by clinching her first major title at the 1987 French Open.

In 1988, Graf achieved an unprecedented feat by winning all four major titles and the Olympic gold medal in the same calendar year, a remarkable accomplishment known as the Golden Slam.
