Sue Bird, born on October sixteenth, nineteen eighty, is a celebrated American former professional basketball player renowned for her remarkable career with the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Drafted first overall by the Storm in the two thousand two WNBA draft, Bird has etched her name in history as one of the greatest players in the league's history. As of two thousand twenty-four, she stands out as the only WNBA player to secure championships across three different decades.

Bird's illustrious career is marked by numerous accolades, including four WNBA championships in two thousand four, two thousand ten, two thousand eighteen, and two thousand twenty. She has also achieved the extraordinary feat of winning five Olympic gold medals from two thousand four to two thousand twenty, making her one of only two Olympic basketball players to reach this milestone.
