Tommy Lapid

Tommy Lapid, born on December twenty-seventh, nineteen thirty-one, was a prominent figure in Israeli media and politics. A Yugoslav-born Israeli, he made a name for himself as a journalist, television presenter, playwright, and opinion journalist. His sharp tongue and acerbic wit set him apart in the crowded landscape of Israeli public life.

From nineteen ninety-nine to two thousand six, Lapid led the secular-liberal Shinui party, where he became known for his staunch opposition to ultra-Orthodox political parties.
