21 Savage, born on October 22, 1992, is a prominent rapper, songwriter, and record producer known for his impactful contributions to the hip-hop genre. He first gained significant attention with his collaborative EP, Savage Mode, alongside record producer Metro Boomin in 2016. The project peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200, featuring hit singles like 'X' (featuring Future) and 'No Heart', both of which made it into the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. His guest appearance on Drake's single 'Sneakin'' further solidified his rising status in the music industry.

In January 2017, 21 Savage signed a recording contract with Epic Records, leading to the release of his debut studio album, Issa Album, later that year.
