The stage name A Boogie wit da Hoodie is inspired by the character 'Ace Boogie' from the 2002 film Paid in Full, combined with his penchant for wearing hoodies, which led friends to give him the nickname. In addition to his music career, Dubose starred in the documentary film The Rise of Artist Dubose, which premiered on Facebook Watch on November 15, 2024.
