A. C. Grayling

A. C. Grayling, born on April third, nineteen forty-nine, is a distinguished British philosopher and author whose intellectual journey began in Northern Rhodesia, now known as Zambia. He spent a significant part of his childhood in Nyasaland, present-day Malawi, which shaped his early worldview. Grayling's academic career flourished at Birkbeck, University of London, where he served as Professor of Philosophy from nineteen ninety-one until June two thousand eleven. In two thousand eleven, he took a bold step by founding the New College of the Humanities, an independent undergraduate institution in London, where he became its first Master.

Grayling's prolific writing includes approximately thirty books that delve into philosophy, biography, the history of ideas, human rights, and ethics.
