Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge, born on April 26, 1992, is a prominent American professional baseball outfielder who plays for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB). Standing at an impressive six feet seven inches and weighing two hundred eighty-two pounds, Judge is recognized as one of the tallest and most formidable players in the league. His prowess as a power hitter and right-handed batter has earned him a reputation as one of the best in baseball history.

Judge's journey began at Fresno State University, where he showcased his talent before being selected by the Yankees as the thirty-second pick in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2016 and quickly made a name for himself, winning the American League Rookie of the Year award in 2017 by unanimous vote. That season, he hit an astounding fifty-two home runs, setting a new rookie record and becoming the first rookie to win the Home Run Derby.

In 2022, Judge achieved a historic milestone by breaking the American League single-season home run record with sixty-two home runs, surpassing the long-standing record held by Roger Maris. This remarkable feat earned him his first Most Valuable Player award. Following this success, he re-signed with the Yankees on a nine-year contract worth three hundred sixty million dollars and was named the team's captain.

Judge continued to excel, winning his second MVP award in 2024 by unanimous vote, leading MLB in home runs and OPS, and becoming the fastest player to reach three hundred career home runs.
