Ab-Soul

Ab-Soul, born on February twenty-third, nineteen eighty-seven, is a prominent figure in the world of hip-hop, known for his unique blend of rap, singing, and songwriting. He has carved out a niche for himself as a solo artist while also being a key member of the influential West Coast hip-hop collective, Black Hippy.

In two thousand seven, Ab-Soul joined forces with fellow California-based rappers Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Schoolboy Q to form Black Hippy. This group has been instrumental in shaping the sound of contemporary hip-hop, and Ab-Soul stands out as the only member who has chosen to remain an independent artist.
