Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Abdul Rashid Ghazi

Abdul Rashid Ghazi, born on January twenty-ninth, nineteen sixty-four, was a prominent Pakistani Islamic scholar and diplomat who transitioned into a notable Islamist dissident. He held the esteemed position of Khatib at Lal Masjid and served as the Chief Executive of Jamia Faridia University. His leadership extended to being the Chairman of Defense of Human Rights Pakistan (DHR) and a member of the UNICEF Committee on preventive healthcare, showcasing his commitment to social issues.

Before his rise as a religious leader, Ghazi worked for the Ministry of Education and was affiliated with UNESCO, a specialized agency of the United Nations. His early career laid the groundwork for his later activism and leadership roles, where he became a significant figure in the Difa-e-Pakistan Council, advocating for various causes.

Tragically, Abdul Rashid Ghazi's life was cut short when he was assassinated on July tenth, two thousand seven, during Operation Sunrise, as the Pakistan Army Special Service Group stormed Lal Masjid in Islamabad. His death sparked widespread controversy and led to significant legal actions, including the Islamabad High Court issuing arrest warrants for former President Pervez Musharraf and other officials in February two thousand sixteen, citing their involvement in what was deemed an extrajudicial assassination.
