Abdullah al-Theni

Abdullah al-Theni, born on January seventh, nineteen fifty-four, is a prominent Libyan politician known for his significant role in the tumultuous political landscape of Libya. He served as the prime minister from two thousand fourteen until two thousand twenty-one, stepping into the position in an interim capacity following the dismissal of Ali Zeidan.

During his tenure, al-Theni led the Tobruk-based government amid the challenges posed by the second Libyan civil war. His leadership garnered substantial international recognition until two thousand sixteen, as well as support from both the Libyan House of Representatives and the Libyan National Army.
