Abraham Olano, born on January twenty-second, nineteen seventy, is a distinguished Spanish retired professional road racing cyclist. His professional career spanned from nineteen ninety-two to two thousand two, during which he achieved remarkable feats in the world of cycling.

In nineteen ninety-five, Olano made history by winning the World Road Championship, followed by his triumph in the World Time Trial Championship in nineteen ninety-eight, becoming the first male cyclist to secure both titles. His prowess on the road was further demonstrated when he clinched the Vuelta a España in nineteen ninety-eight, having previously finished second in nineteen ninety-five.

Olano's impressive performances extended to the Giro d'Italia, where he reached the final podium twice, finishing third in nineteen ninety-six and second in two thousand one. He also showcased his skills in the Tour de France, achieving a personal best of fourth place in nineteen ninety-seven and winning six stages in the Vuelta, along with one stage in the Tour, all of which were time trials.

In addition to his world championship titles, Olano was a double Spanish Champion, winning both the road and time trial events in nineteen ninety-four, and again in the time trial in nineteen ninety-eight.
