Abu'l-Fadl Bayhaqi

Abu'l-Fadl Bayhaqi, born in the year nine hundred ninety-five, emerged as a prominent figure in the realm of history and literature during the Islamic Golden Age. His education in Nishapur, a major cultural hub, laid the foundation for his illustrious career as a historian, writer, and secretary. Bayhaqi's association with the renowned Ghaznavid Sultan Mahmud further enriched his experiences and insights, allowing him to document the intricacies of his time.

His magnum opus, the Tarikh-i Bayhaqi, stands as a testament to his dedication and skill. Although originally composed in thirty volumes, only five complete volumes and a portion of the sixth have survived to this day.
