Achille Paroche, born on March first, eighteen sixty-eight, was a distinguished French sport shooter whose remarkable talent shone brightly in the early twentieth century. He made his Olympic debut at the nineteen hundred Summer Olympics held in Paris, where he showcased his exceptional skills and secured a total of four medals, including a prestigious gold in the military rifle (prone) competition.

In addition to his gold medal, Paroche earned two silver medals in the military pistol events, both individual and team, and a bronze medal as part of the French team in the military rifle team competition. His performance was impressive, as he also placed seventh in the individual military rifle, three positions event, sixteenth in the military rifle, kneeling event, and nineteenth in the military rifle, standing event.

His competitive spirit remained strong, as he finished fourth in the team military rifle, three hundred meters plus six hundred meters event, and fifth in the individual three hundred meters military rifle, prone event.
