Adam Vaughan

Adam G. Vaughan, born on July 3, 1961, is a prominent Canadian lobbyist and former politician known for his impactful contributions to Toronto's political landscape. He served as the city councillor for Ward 20 Trinity—Spadina from two thousand six to two thousand fourteen, before transitioning to the federal level as a member of Parliament for Spadina—Fort York from two thousand fourteen to two thousand twenty-one.

A dedicated member of the Liberal Party, Vaughan held significant roles during his parliamentary tenure, including serving as the parliamentary secretary to the prime minister on intergovernmental affairs from two thousand fifteen to two thousand seventeen, and later to the minister of families, children and social development on housing and urban affairs from two thousand seventeen to two thousand twenty-one.

Before embarking on his political journey, Vaughan made a name for himself as a journalist in radio and television, honing his communication skills that would later serve him well in public service. In August two thousand twenty-one, he announced his decision not to seek re-election, marking the end of a notable chapter in his political career.

In May two thousand twenty-five, Vaughan took on a new role as a spokesperson and senior advisor for Therme Group, a developer focused on Ontario Place spa, showcasing his continued commitment to public engagement and development.
