Adelaida Avagyan

Adelaida Avagyan, born on April 6, 1924, was a prominent Armenian physician and researcher whose contributions to healthcare have left a lasting impact. She dedicated her life to the field of medicine, particularly in the area of nutrition hygiene, where she served as the head of the Nutrition Hygiene laboratory from 1969 until 1994 at the Armenian Institute of General Hygiene and Occupational Diseases in Yerevan.

Throughout her illustrious career, Avagyan authored over fifty research articles published in various journals of the USSR, showcasing her commitment to advancing medical knowledge and public health.
