Adenike Oladosu

Adenike Oladosu, born in 1994, is a prominent Nigerian climate activist and a passionate advocate for environmental justice. As the initiator of the school strike for climate in Nigeria, she has mobilized youth across the nation to demand urgent action against climate change.

Her commitment to climate action has taken her to international platforms, where she has represented Nigeria at significant events such as the UN Climate Change Conference, the World Economic Forum, and the Elevate festival in Graz, Austria. Adenike's voice resonates powerfully in discussions about the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities.

In December 2019, she participated in the COP25 gathering in Spain as a Nigerian youth diplomat. During this pivotal event, she delivered a moving address that highlighted the severe implications of climate change in Africa and its effects on people's lives.

Currently, Adenike leads the pan-African movement I Lead Climate Action Initiative, where she continues to inspire and mobilize individuals across the continent to take action for a sustainable future.
