Adidas Yeezy

Adidas Yeezy was a groundbreaking fashion collaboration that emerged from the creative vision of American rapper, designer, and entrepreneur Kanye West. Partnering with the renowned German sportswear company Adidas, Yeezy introduced a unique line of sneakers and apparel that captivated the fashion world. The collaboration was marked by limited edition colorways and a diverse range of products, including shirts, jackets, track pants, socks, slides, lingerie, and slippers.

The inaugural shoe model, known as the Boost 750, made its debut in February two thousand fifteen, setting the stage for what would become a significant cultural phenomenon. By two thousand twenty, Forbes hailed Yeezy's ascent as one of the great retail stories of the century, highlighting its profound impact on the fashion industry and its ability to inspire numerous other brands.

Despite its success, the collaboration faced challenges. In October two thousand twenty-two, Adidas announced the immediate termination of its partnership with West following his controversial antisemitic remarks made through various media outlets. This decision marked a significant turning point for both the brand and the designer.

Outside of the Adidas collaboration, Yeezy also refers to Kanye West's independent company, Yeezy LLC, which operates separately and is not affiliated with Adidas.
