Adrienne King

Adrienne King, born on July twenty-first, nineteen sixty, is a multifaceted American actress, visual artist, and winemaker, best known for her iconic role as Alice Hardy in the slasher classic Friday the 13th (1980) and its sequel, Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981). Raised in Oyster Bay, New York, King was introduced to the world of entertainment at a young age, appearing in commercials as early as six months old and working as a child actor.

Her film career began with a debut in the television film Inherit the Wind (1965), followed by uncredited roles in notable films such as Between the Lines (1977), Saturday Night Fever (1977), and Hair (1979). After her breakout performances in the Friday the 13th franchise, King faced a challenging period as she became the target of a stalker, prompting her to step back from acting and relocate to London in nineteen eighty-four.

In London, she honed her craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before returning to the United States, where she spent three decades as an ADR looper for various studio films and contributed to the soap opera Melrose Place. During this time, she also nurtured her passion for visual arts, developing her skills as a painter.

King made a notable return to acting in two thousand ten with the low-budget horror film Psychic Experiment, followed by roles in The Butterfly Room (2012), Tales of Poe (2014), Killer Therapy (2019), and the fan film Jason Rising (2021). In two thousand twenty-three, she was attached to the upcoming Peacock series Crystal Lake, a prequel to the original film, which remains in development.

In addition to her acting career, King ventured into the world of winemaking in two thousand ten, partnering with Valley View Vineyards in Oregon's Rogue Valley to curate and sell Crystal Lake Wines, inspired by her Friday the 13th legacy. She also showcased her artistic talents by selling her paintings and provided voice narration for the audiobook of Grady Hendrix's The Final Girl Support Group (2021).
