'Adud al-Dawla

Khusraw, more commonly known by his laqab ʿAḍud al-Dawla, was born on September twenty-fourth, nine hundred thirty-six. He emerged as a prominent figure in the Buyid dynasty, serving as an emir from nine hundred forty-nine until his death in nine hundred eighty-three. His reign marked a significant period in Middle Eastern history, characterized by both military prowess and cultural achievements.
