Aed Carabao

Yuenyong Opakul, widely recognized by his stage name Aed Carabao, was born on November ninth, nineteen fifty-four. Aed is celebrated as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the iconic rock band Carabao, which he co-founded, and he has played a pivotal role in shaping the genre of Thai rock music.

In October twenty twenty-two, Aed found himself at the center of a controversy when he publicly criticized the governor of Suphan Buri province for not inviting him to perform at an annual provincial fair in his hometown. This incident led to a defamation complaint filed against him with the Royal Thai Police, highlighting the challenges public figures face when voicing their opinions. Aed later issued an apology, demonstrating his willingness to address the situation with humility.
