Agnetha Fältskog, born on April fifth, nineteen fifty, is a renowned Swedish singer and songwriter, best known as a member of the iconic pop group ABBA. She first captured the attention of the Swedish music scene with her self-titled debut album in nineteen sixty-eight, paving the way for her rise to international fame during the seventies as part of ABBA, one of the best-selling music acts in history.
Following the unofficial dissolution of ABBA in December nineteen eighty-two, Fältskog embarked on a successful solo career, releasing three albums and taking on a leading role in a film. However, she chose a more private life in the nineties, retreating from the public eye and residing on the tranquil island of Ekerö in Stockholm County.
After a sixteen-year hiatus from recording, she made a triumphant return to music with the release of her album My Colouring Book in two thousand four. This was followed by her highest-charting solo album in the UK, titled A, in two thousand thirteen. Fältskog reunited with her ABBA bandmates from two thousand sixteen until two thousand twenty-two, culminating in the release of their ninth studio album, Voyage.
