Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi

Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi, born on June fifth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent Comorian Islamic leader and politician. He is best known for his tenure as the eighth President of Comoros, a position he held from two thousand six to two thousand eleven. His leadership earned him the nickname 'Ayatollah', reflecting his influence and stature within the nation.

Sambi's political journey reached a significant milestone when he won the presidential election on May fourteenth, two thousand six, securing fifty-eight point zero two percent of the national vote. This victory marked a pivotal moment in Comorian history, as it represented the first peaceful transfer of power in the country.
